A useful sea moss label answers practical questions: what the product is, what it contains, how much is supplied and how it should be stored. A broad wellness description cannot replace those details.
Start with the contents
Check the format and full ingredient list. A jar of gel is different from dried material or an extract. If a front label highlights a flavour, read the rest of the information to understand the formulation rather than assuming the picture describes everything inside.
Read origin claims precisely
A brand's location, an ingredient's growing location and the place of preparation can be different. Ask which location a sourcing statement refers to. Do not infer an origin simply from Caribbean styling or a tropical photograph.
Keep instructions available
Storage directions, date information and any after-opening instructions belong with the product. Retain the label rather than decanting into an unmarked jar. If a listing leaves a practical question unanswered, contact the seller before buying instead of borrowing instructions from another product.
