Do not put a glass teapot on a hob unless its manufacturer explicitly says it is suitable for that use and heat source. A transparent pot being able to hold hot tea does not establish direct-heat compatibility.
Hot water and direct heat differ
A teapot designed for serving or infusion may not be designed for a gas flame, electric ring or induction hob. A photograph beside a cooker is not a specification. Check the exact model's directions rather than copying a demonstration involving another pot.
Read the complete care guidance
Look for the permitted uses, temperature-change precautions and cleaning instructions supplied with the item. A description such as 'heat-resistant' should not be stretched into a claim the maker has not made. Ask the seller if compatibility is not explicit.
Keep the brewing setup simple
Use the pot only as directed, with appropriate equipment for heating the water separately where required. K&M's current product information is the place to confirm details of its teaware. This article does not certify a particular glass pot for hob, oven or microwave use.
