Organic Herbal Tea: Understanding Product Descriptions

Organic Herbal Tea: Understanding Product Descriptions

Organic herbal tea is a product description to check carefully, rather than a word to infer from natural-looking packaging. An ingredient photograph and an organic label communicate different information.

Read the actual claim

Look for what the supplier says about the specific product. A shop may sell several kinds of tea, and a description on one item should not automatically be applied to every other item. The written label is more informative than a leafy design.

Organic is not a flavour

Organic and citrus describe different things: one concerns a production claim, while the other can describe an ingredient or tasting impression. A packet can carry several descriptions that answer separate questions. Comparing like-for-like information makes shopping easier.

Keep other claims separate

Words such as natural, traditional and single ingredient should not be treated as interchangeable with organic. They tell different stories and may need further explanation. None of those words supplies a complete contents list or preparation method.

Our product descriptions are the reference

This article does not claim organic certification for the K&M range. Browse the current product pages for the descriptions we actually provide. If a particular production detail is essential to your purchase, request that specific information rather than assuming it from a photograph.
