How to Make a Caribbean Sea Moss Drink with Coconut and Nutmeg

Mitchelle’s guide describes blending sea moss with coconut milk and nutmeg as a Caribbean-style drink. This serving idea focuses on those flavours without prescribing a daily amount of sea moss.

Start with the product instructions

Use food-grade sea moss gel prepared and stored according to the supplier’s current instructions. Follow the labelled serving guidance rather than copying a fixed amount from a general recipe. If no clear instructions are supplied, ask the seller before using it.

Build the drink

For two drinks, start with 400ml unsweetened coconut drink, half a ripe banana, a small pinch of nutmeg and a few drops of vanilla. Blend these until smooth. If appropriate for you, add sea moss gel according to its own directions and blend again. Add a little water if the texture is too thick.

Serve freshly blended

Use clean utensils and keep refrigerated ingredients cold until needed. Do not use the recipe to extend the gel’s stated storage life. Omit extra sweetener until you have tasted the banana.

A note on sea moss

Enjoy the recipe for its cultural connection and flavour, without treating it as a cure or nutritional guarantee.
