A herbal tea advent calendar brings a tea theme to the countdown to Christmas. You can create a personal version using individually stored tea bags and a list of daily tasting prompts.
What goes inside?
A calendar can contain different teas, repeated favourites or a mixture of tea bags and written prompts. Twenty-four different ingredients are not essential. One day might focus on aroma, another on a favourite cup and another on sharing a pot with someone. This is a calendar idea, rather than a description of a ready-made K&M product.
Keep the tea information with it
If you rearrange packets for a calendar, keep the original ingredient information, preparation instructions and date labels available. Numbered envelopes make an attractive display, but they should not replace suitable tea packaging. A recipient needs to know what each selection contains.
Make the countdown personal
A small card can explain why you chose a tea or suggest a conversation topic for the break. Repeating a favourite gives the recipient something familiar to look forward to. You could include a final invitation to share a pot on Christmas Eve.
