How to Make an Alcohol-Free Christmas Tea Punch

How to Make an Alcohol-Free Christmas Tea Punch

A colourful Christmas punch makes a welcoming centrepiece without needing alcohol. This recipe idea combines brewed herbal tea with fruit juice and fresh citrus. It is a new serving suggestion inspired by K&M Herbs’ tea traditions, rather than a recipe reproduced from the guide.

Ingredients: makes about six glasses

  • 500ml brewed lemongrass tea, cooled
  • 500ml apple juice
  • 250ml cranberry juice drink
  • 250ml sparkling water
  • One orange, sliced, and one apple, thinly sliced
  • Ice and one cinnamon stick, optional

Method

  1. Brew the tea according to its pack instructions. Remove the tea bags and allow it to cool, then chill.
  2. Combine the chilled tea and juices in a clean jug or punch bowl.
  3. Add the fruit, ice and optional cinnamon stick shortly before serving.
  4. Pour in the sparkling water last and stir gently.

Make it your Christmas centrepiece

Place glasses beside the bowl so guests can help themselves. Keep decorative greenery outside the drink. For a less sweet version, replace some juice with extra chilled tea or sparkling water. The sweetness will vary with your juice choice, so taste before adding anything else. Serve promptly and refrigerate any unused base without ice. This is a festive drink, not a health treatment.
